The independent variable in this study is the social media usage of people.

What is independent variable?

The variable alter, regulate, or change in an experimental study to examine its effects is known as an independent variable. Because it is unaffected by any other study variables, it is referred to as being "independent."

Computer mediated communication, such as social sites has gained millions and millions of users in the past decade and now it has proven to be "one of the most trafficked site in the world" The dependant variable is the self-esteem of people which is affected by social functions.

Self-esteem is both stable and fluid, it develops and changes with time and is affected by daily events.

Explain the following quote. “How you think and how you act can transform your experience of stress. When you choose to view you
e-lub [12.9K]

I think that it is talking about how stress comes from the way we think and act because there are negative outcomes in some situations. And the stress could also help because it could make you think back when something like the situation you are in now and see how you can solve it. With the courage you have for a response. Also, if you see someone else with the same problem that deals with stress you can relate with that person b/c of stress that you get. Then, you and that person create a resilience.

Hope this help
