Using the triangle sum theorem and the alternate interior angles theorem, the measure of ∠TUV is: 78°

What is the Triangle Sum Theorem?

In any triangle, all three angles have a sum of 180 degrees, based on the triangle sum theorem.

What is the Alternate Interior Angles Theorem?

The alternate interior angles theorem states that if two interior angles lie alternate to each other, both angles have the same measure.

Given the following:

 • m∠SRV = 48°
 • m∠SVR = 54°

Find m∠RSV using the triangle sum theorem:

m∠RSV = 180 - (m∠SRV + m∠SVR)

m∠RSV = 180 - (48 + 54)

m∠RSV = 78°

∠RSV and ∠TUV are alternate interior angles, therefore:

m∠RSV = m∠TUV = 78° [alternate interior angles theorem]

What is 3.1 divided by 10.261Very simple. We have 2 given decimal number in which our dividend which is the 3.1 is lesser than our divisor which is 10.261.Now, let's start the division to be able to find out what is the quotient we're looking.=> 3. 1 / 10.261 = 0.30.Thus, the quotient is o.30, let's check if we got the correct answer. To check simply do the reverse method=> .30 * 10.261 = 3.1

What’s the answer to #12? and why
Elena L [17]
Remark
If there are 5 distinct zeros that means either that the x axis is crossed the x axis 5 different places or touched the x axis in 1 place out the 5. Touching in one place means that an even number of roots are the same.

So let's go through all of them to get an answer of 5.

A has 4 x intercepts. It is not the right answer. We need 5.
B has 4 x intercepts. It is not the right answer. We need 5.
C has 6 x intercepts. Not the one we want.
D has 5 x distinct zeros. The wording is a bit tricky. It does not matter than one of them just touches the x axis. There could be an even number of distinct zeros there, but it only counts as one root.

An example of such a graph is f(x)=\left(\frac{1}{10}(x+2)(x+1.5)(x+1)(x-2)^4(x-3)\right)
