When the dice is rolled 14 times then from the given data the probability of 1,2,3,4,5,6 is 3/14,1/14,4/14,1/14,3/14,2,14.

Given Roll of dice and outcomes from 1 to 14 is 1,3,5,4,5,3,3,1,3,5,6,1,6,2.

From the given collected data we can find out number of times each number came when the dice is rolled.

Number of times 1 came=3

Number of times 2 came=1

Number of times 3 came=4

Number of times 4 came=1

Number of times 5 came=3

Number of times 6 came=2

The probabilities are in fraction form:

P(1)=3/14

P(2)=1/14

P(3)=4/14

P(4)=1/14

P(5)=3/14

P(6)=2/14

The probabilities in decimal form:

P(1)=0.21

P(2)=0.07

P(3)=0.28

P(4)=0.07

P(5)=0.21

P(6)=0.14

The probabilities in percentage:

P(1)=21%

P(2)=7%

P(3)=28%

P(4)=7%

P(5)=21%

P(6)=14%

Hence the probabilities are 3/14,1/14,4/14,1/14,3/14,2,14.

the bottom of a ladder must be placed 10 feet from a building. The ladder is 26 feet. How far above the ground does the ladder t
Sauron [17]

Answer:

The ladder touches the wall at 24 feet from the ground.

Step-by-step explanation:

The wall of the building, the ground, and the ladder form a right triangle, whose longer side is the length of the ladder.

In any right triangle, we can apply Pythagora's theorem to find any missing side length.

The ladder is 26 feet in length, the distance from the bottom of the ladder and the building is 10 feet. Calling H to the distance above the ground where the ladder touches the wall, then:

26^2=10^2+H^2

Calculating:

676=100+H^2

Solving:

H^2=676-100

H^2=576

H=\sqrt{576}

H=24 feet

The ladder touches the wall at 24 feet from the ground.

Please help on this math question
Katarina [22]
First and last ones
The " = [number] " at the end of an equation for a circle is the radius squared
So if the diameter is 12, then the radius is 6, and 36 is 6 squared
Also as long as the x term doesn't have an integer affecting it (like -3 or +5) then it'll stay on the y axis.

39 is the percent of 12.5
Rashid [163]
You mean '39 is what percent of 12.5 ?'

So, the answer is

39/12.5 × 100
= 3.12 × 100
= 312%

So, 39 is 312% of 12.5.

(The percentage is greater because 39 is greater than 12.5)
