The sum of all interior angles in a polygon is

180(n - 2), where n = "number of sides in the polygon"

now, this polygon has 5 sides, so is a PENTAgon, so the sum of all its interior angles is 180( 5 - 2), or  540.

we know 4 of them, so the last one, the one next to A, has to be 540 - 104 - 118 - 96 - 115, namely is 107.

now, notice, that angle is next to A, is really sitting on the same exact line angle A is sitting on, so that angle is a linear angle with A.

what the dickens does that mean?  well, linear angles make up 180°, therefore,

107 + A = 180
A = 180 - 107

Delvig [45]
This pattern is multiply by -2. Your conjecture or conclusion will be that it changes by a multiple of negative two each time. Half the numbers are positive because if you multiply two negatives, they equal a positive. Hope this helps.

The diameter of a circle is 8cm. a central angle of the circle intercepts an arc of 12 cm. what is the radian measure of the ang
Ad libitum [116K]
The length of the intercepted arc can be calculated through the equation,

     A = (θ/2π)(2πr)

where r is the radius. We are given that the value of diameter is 8 cm. Radius can be calculated by dividing the given diameter by 2.

   radius = 8 cm/2 = 4 cm

Substituting the known values to the equation above,

  12 cm = (θ/2π)(2π)(4 cm)

The value of θ from the equation is 3.
