Since the formula for finding area of a triangle is half x base x height,
We can tell 8 is the base and 10 is the height. So we take 1/2 x 8 x 10 = 40
So the answer would be 40.
Hope this helps! :)

Hi there!

• Base, b = 8 units
• Altitude, a = 10 units

Area of Triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} × b × a = \dfrac{1}{2} × 8 × 10 = 40 units.

Hence,
Th' required area of triangle is 40 units
