Answer:

Saturday, June 18th 2022

As I was taking my daily walk through the park, I saw a baby bird stumbling as it tried to get up and fly. I assumed that it had fallen out of his nest in the tree above. It looked so pitiful as it tried to fly again. It broke my heart. As I picked the baby bird up to examine why he couldn't fly, there I saw it. He had broken his wing. Carefully I took him home and showed my mother the bird, and she helped me patch up its wing. Tomorrow my mother and I will be taking him to the vet to make sure he gets the proper care he needs and is fully out of danger. We named him Bob.

How does knowing Greek mythology help expand your vocabulary?
docker41 [41]

Answer:

Knowing Greek mythology helps us expand our vocabulary because:

A. Some words that we use today were used by characters in Greek myths.

Explanation:

There are words and expressions commonly seen and used in today's English that actually come from Greek myths and epic poems. Therefore, knowing about Greek mythology can help us understand the origin and meaning of those words. For instance, if you know about the hero Achilles, you will easily understand the expression "Achilles heel". If you have an Achilles heel, that means you have a weakness. That expression comes from the myth, where the hero Achilles, who was indestructible, had only one weakness - his heel. Only by being hit by an arrow in his heel is Achilles defeated.

Notes two or three observations about how Anne has changed.
dalvyx [7]
It seems that Anna is forced to grow up because of the context she is leaving in. She might not fully understand what is going on in depth however, she knows that something is wrong, that she might be scared and enjoy life day by day. It is not possible to see her with nowadays eyes, because of the social context and the situations she might have to deal with. She might be quite aware of her role within her family and people around her.
