A quantitative data is an information that can be measured and written down in numbers.

A) People who eat low-protein diets are more likely to have less muscle mass.

E) Eating less salt lowers blood pressure over time.

Thus, A and E are the correct options.

What is the difference between Quantitative Data and Qualitative data?

Quantitative Data refers to data (statistics) that can be expressed by a certain quantity, numeral value, amount, or range. It can be measured. An example would be: "A yard is three feet".

In contrast, Qualitative data refers to the quality of something. This data cannot be measured. You gather this data by looking at physical attributes or properties. An example would be: "A ripe banana is yellow".

Thus, A and E are the correct options.

In the thylakoid membranes, what is the main role of the antenna pigment molecules?
Katen [24]

Answer: Option B.

harvest photons and transfer light energy to the reaction-center chlorophyll

Explanation:

In the thylakoid membranes,the main role of the antenna pigment molecules is harvest photons and transfer light energy to the reaction-center chlorophyll because the photon of light move until it get to a molecule in the chlorophyll. When it reaches the molecule, it causes an excitation of electrons in the chlorophyll. The energy then present allow it to break free from the chlorophyll atom, which indicate chlorophyll donating an electron and the energy that is absorbed is then converted to heat.

If a flare occurs on the Sun 4 astronomical units away how much time would pass before a robot at that distance see the light fl
neonofarm [45]

The time that would elapse before a robot at a distance see the light flash is : 2000 secs

Analysis of the solution

Given data :

Distance = 4 AU

Time for light to reach the earth = 8 mins 20 seconds

speed of light ( c ) = 299,792,458 m / s

To resolve this we will apply the equation below

Time = Distance / Speed ------ ( 1 )

where : Distance= 4 AU, speed = c

Therefore :

Time = 4 AU / c

AU / c = ( 8 * 60 + 20)

Hence the time that would elapse before a robot at a distance see the light flash will be

Time = 4 ( 8*60 + 20) = 2000 secs

Why have erosion and deposition increased in both of the prairie ecosystems
Ulleksa [173]
Because that ecosystem is covered in rocks and soil fragments. These fragments can be moved by the wind, water or even gravity.

These fragments can lead towards erosion and deposition. That is why people are trying to plant new grass and trees there so it won't get washed away when the next storm hits.

Hope this helped :)
