Answer:

Depends on which function is which...

Step-by-step explanation:

The blue graph is the same as the yellow graph but raised up 1 unit. That means either:

blue function rule = yellow function rule + 1

or

yellow function rule = blue function rule - 1

Your picture doesn't say which function is  <em>f</em>  and which is <em>g</em>.

If, just to pick a possibility, the blue function is <em>g</em>(<em>x</em>), then

g(x) = f(x) + 1

If the blue function is <em>f</em>(<em>x</em>), then

g(x) = f(x) - 1

So 20% is 1/5 and 1/5 of 55 is 11. That means there are in total 11 blue candies if 1/5 of them is damaged then technically 2.2 of them are which is kinda weird as it doesn't give whole number

Which shows the graph of the solution set of y &lt; 1/3 x – 2?
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

The graph in the attached figure

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y< \frac{1}{3}x-2

The solution of the inequality is the shaded area below the dashed line

The equation of the line is y= \frac{1}{3}x-2

The slope of the line is positive m= \frac{1}{3}

The y-intercept of the line is the point (0,-2)

The x-intercept of the line is the point (6,0)

so

The graph in the attached figure

Two students created a list of steps for the following construction. Which student has steps in the correct order, and which doe
irina [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

As it is impossible to understand who have done what ,

the correct construction should be :

You are given point A, point B and point C.

Construct a line parallel to that line AB passing through point C.

1) Place the compass on point B, and swing an arc that crosses line AB and line BC.

Label the points D and E.

2) Keep the compass at the same width, and place it on point C.

3) Swing an arc that crosses line BC, and label the point F outside the segment [BC] .

4) Open the compass to the width between points D and E.

Keeping the compass at the same width, place it on point F.

5) Swing an arc that intersects the arc created from line BC at point C.

6) Mark the intersection of the two arcs as point G.

7) Draw a line through point C and point G.

<u>You just have to discover who has done that.</u>
