A standard numbered cube (die) has six faves numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Three are even 2, 4, 6 and three are odd 1, 3, 5
P(even) = 3/6
P(odd) = 3/6
So for a fair die an odd number is equally likely as an even number

victus00 [196]
<span>4.8 (x+4)=2.6
Use distributive property
4.8x + 19.2= 2.6
Subtract 19.2 from both sides
4.8x = -16.6
Divide 4.8 on both sides so that the only thing remaining on the left side is the variable x.
Final Answer: x = -3.458</span>

Carnival T charges an entrance fee of $7.00 and $0.50 per ticket for the rides. Carnival Q charges an entree fee of $12.00 and $
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

$30

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculation for the tickets that must be purchased for Carnival T and Carnival Q to be the same

Based on the information given let x be the number of ticket to be purchased .

Carnival T entrance fee= $7.00

Ride= $0.50 per ticket

Carnival Q entree fee =12.00

Ride= $0.25 per ticket

Tickets=$7.00 + ($0.50* x) = $12.00 + ($0.25* x)

.25 x = 5.00

Hence:

x=$.25+$5.00

×=$30

Therefore the amount of tickets that must be purchased in order for the total cost at Carnival T and Carnival Q to be the same will be $30
