The 25th amendment was ratified after the assassination of President
Mumz [18]
Answer (2)

Explaining Kennedy’s sudden passing accelerated an argument about a constitutional change that had been in the works in Congress in 1963.

Technically, the Constitution never spelled out how a vice president would become president if a president died, resigned or was unable to perform the office’s duty.

This oversight became apparent in 1841, when the newly elected President, William Henry Harrison, died about a month after becoming President. Vice President John Tyler, in a bold move, settled the political debate about succession.

Hope this helps :)

In which state did women first receive full suffrage
Degger [83]
It was in the state of Wyoming that women first gained the right to vote in 1869, although it should be noted that the path to full suffrage was long, with it not becoming a federal law until 1920.

Congressional grants paid for ____________ percent of the development of an interstate highway after world war ii. question 20 o
GarryVolchara [31]
You might think it too high to say 90% ... but it really was 90% of funding for the Interstate Highway system that was provided by Congressional funding. This was a huge program signed into law during the presidency of Dwight Eisenhower. It was considered essential to the national interest. The Federal-Aid Highway Act passed in 1956 allocated $26 billion (in 1956 dollars!) to this monumental road-building effort.

How did Stalin's view of communism differ from Lenin and Trotsky's?
Fed [463]
Best Answer: After Lenin`s death in 1924, Joseph Stalin won a bitter power struggle against Trotsky. Trotsky advocated worldwide revolution, but Stalin`s aim to build socialism in one country appealed to Russian pride. Stalin created a ruthless totalitarian state. He pushed the country into rapid industrialization and forcibly collectivized agriculture at the expense of living standards. His ruthless `Russification ` program resulted in millions of Russians being deported to labor camps. Thousands of Soviet citizens died in his `blood purges of the 1930's.
Trotsky`s policy of permanent revolution led to dismissal from the Politburo by Stalin in 1926 and eventual exile from Russia in 1929. He moved to Mexico in 1937 where he was assassinated in 1940.
The theories of Communism advocated by Trotsky argued for the permanent worldwide revolution of the proletariat
