The appropriate restraint is all about empathy, finesse, and technique. There is a problem with the utilized technique for that procedure on that animal for that day if it takes more than two individuals to really hold the animal during any process. The more participants there are, the more threatened the animal will feel and the easier it will be for someone to get hurt.

Dog Restraint & Handling:

Standing restraint

Sitting Restraint

The same method as the standing restraint, but with the dog sitting

To stop a dog from backing up, it can be against a wall.
