The Endocrine and Central nervous systems are the major control systems for regulating homeostasis.

-Homeostasis is the ability to maintain internal stability in an organism in response to the environmental changes.

-In this the hypothalamus maintains homeostasis, regulating metabolism, reproduction, eating and drinking behaviour, energy utilization, osmolarity and blood pressure.

-Most control systems maintain homeostasis by a process called negative feedback.

-Negetive feedback is a mechanism in which the product of a reaction leads to a decrease in that reaction.
