The expression 10^{t^2+2t-3} is equivalent to the expression (10^{t+3})^{t-1

<h3>What is an equation?</h3>

An equation is an expression that shows the relationship between two or more numbers and variables.

Given the expression:

10^{t^2+2t-3}\\\\=10^{t^2+3t-t-3}\\\\=10^{[t(t+3)-1(t+3)]}\\\\=10^{(t-1)(t+3)}

The expression 10^{t^2+2t-3} is equivalent to the expression (10^{t+3})^{t-1

A recursive rule for a geometric sequence is a1=3;an=12an−1 . What is the explicit rule for this sequence?
ehidna [41]
From the recursive rule, you can tell the initial value is 3 and the common ratio is 12. The explicit rule is always
.. (n-th term) = (initial value)*(common ratio)^(n -1)

Subsituting the values you know, you have
.. an = 3*12^(n-1)

9/10 (x + 8) = 18 ugh math hurts my head
Aneli [31]
Use the distributive property.
9/10 (x + 8) = 18
9/10x + 7.2 = 18
9/10x + 7.2 - 7.2 = 18 - 7.2
9/10x = 10.8
9/10x / 9/10 = 10.8 / 9/10
x = 12

A koala bear eats at a steady rate 15 leaves in 2 hours. In how many minutes does the koala eat 10 leaves?
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

80 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

1 hour=60 minutes

2 hours=120 minutes

-------------------------------

15/120=10/x

cross product

120*10=15*x

1200=15x

x=1200/15

x=80

Fiesta28 [93]

I've attached an image showing the coordinates of Ship A and Ship B.

Answer:

distressed vessel is located at (1, 1.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

From the image attached, we can see that;

Coordinate of ship A is (3, 4)

Coordinate of ship B is (1, 1)

Now, we are told that Ship A receives a distress signal from the southwest, and ship B receives a distress from the same vessel from the north.

This means that the distressed ship is somewhere in between ship A & B.

To solve this, we will extend the arrow line from Ship A in that same SW direction and we will do the same for ship B in the same North direction. Their point of intersection is where the distressed ship is located.

Now, if we do that, we will see that they will intersect at the point; (1, 1.5)

Thus,distressed vessel is located at (1, 1.5)
