The Native Americans were used by the American Colonists during the American Revolution as they helped defeat the British forces.

What was the relationship between the Native Americans and the Colonists?

They had a working relationship as the Native Americans were forced to pick a side during the Revolutionary War

Hence, we can note that some Native Americans sided with the British, while some fought for the colonists.

The general feeling among the Native Americans after their homelands were taken by the American government and put on reservations would have been anger and disappointment as they were branded as savages.

The general feeling among the American colonists about the Native Americans was that they were uncivilized savages and were a means to an end and could be treated in despicable ways.

One way they could have co-existed peacefully together was if the American Colonists respected the natives and treated them equally.

She is demonstrating the scientific attitude of skepticism. Skepticism is the way toward applying reason and basic deduction to decide legitimacy. It's the way toward finding a bolstered conclusion, not the defense of a biased conclusion. It's in this manner mistaken to state "Doubters don't trust in phantoms."
