Baroque and Rococo art both have similarities in their styles. They are:

  • They have opulent decoration.
  • They are both  visually and aesthetically pleasing.

The differences are:

  • The tone that each style makes do differs.
  • Rococo possess a lot more private, soft, pleasing feel but Baroque art is said to be dramatic and powerful.

<h3>What are the difference between the Baroque and Rococo styles?</h3>

The key difference between Baroque and Rococo art is that Baroque style is said to be grand in nature and it is dynamic in the late-European art that existed between 1650-1700 but Rococo is one that was seen in the late-Baroque era which was made up of light oral f playfulness and depict more of intimacy.

Therefore,  Baroque is said to be opulent and is often very  heavier and “serious” in terms of its style but Rococo is known to be lighthearted.
