The degree of dispersion in your data collection is indicated by variance.
It is given by the formula:
\overline{d}= \sum_{i=1}^{i=n}\frac{|x_i-\overline{x}|^2}{n}

To determine the values of a certain set of scattered data, the standard deviation formula is utilized. The dispersion of the quantities or data from the mean is how the standard deviation is simply defined. The conclusion drawn from a lower standard deviation is that the results are fairly near to the average. Higher values, on the other hand, indicate a significant dispersion from the mean. The standard deviation number can never be negative, it should be positive.

It is given by the formula:

s_d = \sqrt{\sum_{i=1}^{i=n}\frac{|x_i-\overline{x}|^2}{n}} =\sqrt{\overline{d}}

We have that the mean of the values is:

at 8 AM \overline{x}=\frac{97.9+99.3+97.9+97.6+97.4}{5}=98.02

at 12 AM \overline{x}=\frac{98.5+99.7+98+97.4+97.6}{5}=98.24

Using the above definitions we have that

at 8 AM \overline{d}=\frac{(98.02-97.9)^2+(98.02-99.3)^2+(98.02-97.9)^2+(98.02-97.6)^2+(98.02-97.4)^2}{5}=0.4456

s_d=\sqrt{\overline{d}}=\sqrt{0.4456}=0.6675

at 12 AM

\overline{d}=\frac{(98.24-98.5)^2+(98.24-99.7)^2+(98.24-98)^2+(98.24-97.4)^2+(98.24-97.6)^2}{5}=0.6744

s_d=\sqrt{\overline{d}}=\sqrt{0.6744}=0.8212

In general, \mu_d represents the mean of the differences from the population of matched data.

PLEASE HELP!! I am very confused. WILL GIVE BRAINLY!!!!
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

x=80, y=15

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle on the opposite side of 100 will be equal to x

We know it is 180-100 so x=80

We know 6y=90

therfore y = 90/6 which equals 15

so y=15 and x=80

The conversion factor relating feet to meters is 1 ft=0.305 m. Keep in mind that when using conversion factors, you want to make
kogti [31]

Answer:

  1763 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the given conversion factor, ...

  (164 m²)(1 ft/(.305 m))² = 165/.093025 ft² ≈ 1763 ft²

_____

The exact conversion factor is 1/0.3048, so the area is closer to 1765 ft². For a 4-significant digit answer, you need to use a conversion factor accurate to 4 significant digits.

Write a linear equation. Choose three input values and find the corresponding output values. Show your work.
erma4kov [3.2K]

Example of linear equation:

y = mx + b

Let's have the linear equation;

y = 2x + 3

<h3 /><h3>Put x=1</h3>

y = 2 \times 1 + 3  \\ y = 2 + 3 \\ y = 5

(x,y) = (1,5)

<h3>Put x=2</h3>

y = 2 \times 2 + 3 \\ y = 4 + 3 \\ y = 7

(x,y) = (2,7)

<h3>Put x=3</h3>

y = 2 \times 3 + 3 \\ y = 6 + 3 \\ y = 9

(x,y) = (3,9)
