Frye v. United States, 293 F. 1013 (D.C. Cir. 1923) recognizes that scientific evidence can only be admitted if it is generally viewed as reliable by the scientific community.

What is Frye's standard?

In American courts, the Frye standard, Frye test, or general acceptance test is used to assess whether scientific evidence is admissible. It states that a scientific technique must be widely regarded as reliable in the relevant scientific community in order for an expert opinion based on that technique to be admissible.

In Frye, the court ruled that when a scientific discovery or principle is sufficiently established to have attained widespread acceptance in a particular field, the evidence supporting it is admissible.

Based on the circumstances, we identify private issues, as such. The character of interactions with other people. We set public issues into a whole another arena and make relationships within the social structures.
