0.017559

It is given that:

Probability of Households Having cable TV, p₀ = 76% = 0.76

Therefore,

The probability that the Households not having cable TV = 1 - 0.76 = 0.24

Sample size, n = 225 households

sample proportions is less than 82% i.e p = 0.82

Now,

The standard error, SE = \sqrt{} \frac{0.76(1-0.76)}{225}

= 0.02847

Z = \frac{0.82-0.76}{0.02847}

Z = 2.107

therefore, P(sample porportions < 0.82) = P(Z < 2.107)

now from the p value from the Z table we get P(sample porportions < 0.82) =  0.017559

Tell whether the statement is always, sometimes, or never true. Explain.
Andrews [41]

Answer:

1. If x and y are supplementary angles, then y is sometimes acute because supplementary angles are angles that add up to 180 degrees. So, y can be acute while x can be obtuse, y can be obtuse while x can be acute, or both can be right angles.

2. If x and y are complementary angles, then x is never obtuse. Complementary angles are angles that add up to 90 degrees, and obtuse angles are angles over 90 degrees, so it's impossible to have an obtuse angle as a complementary angle.

I need help with this question. The directions say to evaluate and express the answer in the simplest form.
topjm [15]

Answer:

<h2>1/243</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

(9)^-5/2

In order to get rid of the negative exponent, take the reprocal of 9/1

⇒(\frac{1}{9})^5/2

\frac{1^\frac{5}{2} }{9\frac{5}{2} }⇒This is also the same thing but we’re are breaking it down.

\frac{(1^{\frac{1}{2})^{5} } }{(9\frac{1}{2})^{5} }⇒We are further breaking this down...

^\frac{1}{2} is technically the square root of a number.

\sqrt{1}^{5}=1

\sqrt{9}^{5}=243

Orlov [11]
For this case, the first thing we must do is define variables.
 x: amount of time Miguel uses to complete the task.
 y: amount of time Maria uses to complete the task.
 We write the system of equations:
 x + y = 60
 y = (1/2) x
 Solving the system we have:
 x = 40 minutes
 y = 20 minutes
