Answer:

Solution: There is exactly one solution, the lines intercept at one point, they are not the same line, so they do not have infinite solutions, and if they were to not intercept, they would have no solution.

Step-by-step explanation:

Set the equations equal

-2x-4=3x+3
     +4      +4

-2x=3x+7

-3x  -3x

-5x=7

/-5

x=-7/5

Plug x back into one of the equations

y=-2(-7/5)-4

y=-6/5

Use the formulas for the area of a triangle and the area of a rectangle for both figures. The bases are the tops and bottoms of the figures and the lateral sides are the sides not including the top or bottom. It’s basically just finding the areas of each side and adding them all up to find the surface area. Volume is finding the area of the base, using the triangle area formula, and multiplying that by the height of the figure
Hope this helps!

Darya [45]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Since he needs to make 2 appetizers per person, the variable "p" needs to go with the "2".

Also, since he is making 20 ( 4 trays, 5 apps each) extra  appetizers for the beginning, we will need to add 20 to that number.
