Homework promotes learning and therefore should not be prohibited.

How does homework promote learning?

Through repetition of concepts presented in the classroom.
Through the possibility of encouraging students to use what was learned in the classroom without the presence of a teacher.
Homework extends students' understanding, as it is the time when they can use their knowledge on their own, repeating what they have learned in the classroom and applying this knowledge in different situations, for this reason, it should not be prohibited.
There are a lot of pro's an con's. sum times doing homework is to better ur self in academic achievement in high school and middle school. But it wont help much in elementary. Its known that doing alot of book work for a lot of time lower test scores and higher rates of anxiety and depression. ( sorry if my words arnt spelt right :3)
