The procedure to rewrite the standard form in slope intercept form is as shown below.

<h3>How to rewrite an equation in Slope Intercept Form?</h3>

The standard form of the equation of a line is;

ax + by + c  = 0

Slope intercept form is;

y = mx + c

Intercept form is;

x/p  + y/q = 1

To Convert ax + by + c  = 0  into  y = mx + c

1) Move ax and c to the right hand side to get;

by = -ax  - c

Divide both sides by b to get;

y = - ax/b  - c/b

Comparing to slope intercept form, we can say that;

Slope = -a/b

y-intercept = -c/b

If we are using y = mx + b as slope intercept form, this will also be accurate because we will just switch c with b in the standard form to arrive at same answer.

Answer:

See below ~

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for area of a triangle :

<u><em>Area (triangle) = 1/2 × base × height</em></u>

<u><em /></u>

=============================================================

Solving :

<u>Triangle 1 (Top Left)</u>

⇒ Area = 1/2 × 11 × 3

⇒ Area = 33/2

⇒ Area = 16.5 in²

<u>Triangle 2 (Top Right)</u>

⇒ Area = 1/2 × 8 × 7.2

⇒ Area = 4 × 7.2

⇒ Area = 28.8 cm²

<u>Triangle 3 (Bottom Left)</u>

⇒ Area = 1/2 × (5.5 + 5) × 10.4

⇒ Area = 10.5 × 10.4

⇒ Area = 109.2 m²

<u>Triangle 4 (Bottom Right)</u>

⇒ Area = 1/2 × (2 + 7) × 5.5

⇒ Area =  9 × 2.75

⇒ Area = 24.75 in²

The nth term of a sequence is 2n - 6
Serjik [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2n - 6

a) n = 1 ;   2n - 6 = 2*1 - 6  = 2 - 6 = -4

  n = 2 ;   2n - 6 = 2*2 - 6 = 4 - 6 = -2

  n = 3 ;   2n - 6 = 2*3 - 6 = 6 - 6 = 0

b) n=10;  2n - 6 = 2*10 - 6 = 20 - 6 = 14

I need help please.
Mariana [72]

Answer:

.55

Step-by-step explanation:

You want to shorten the decimal to just to two after the decimal point. If so for example, .443 would be shortened to .44, but if the third number is 5 and up, you would take the second number after the decimal point and add 1. For example,

.446 would round up to .44, which is why .5524 would round to .55
