Arrange the events in the order that they occur during DNA replication. Tiles. Helicase unzips DNA to separate strands. Polymera
Leya [2.2K]
DNA exists in a coiled form in order for it to take up a smaller volume in the cell so that is why the first thing is that it needs to be unwound by topoisomerase. Then each piece is made up of two strands that must be separated as they need to be copied separately, so next the helicase unzips the DNA. DNA polymerase needs to have something to build off so because DNA can be synthesized, the Primase needs to make an RNA "primer". DNA is then synthesized but because it cannot synthesize the whole chromosome in one piece, after DNA synthesis, the ligase must glue the shorter pieces together to make the entire chromosome. Correct Order 1. Topoisomerase unwinds the coiled DNA 2. Helicase unzips DNA to separate strands 3. Primase lays down short RNA strands 4. Polymerase synthesizes new DNA strands 5. The new strands are glued using ligase

1. Wegener formed the theory of continental drift in 1912. What prevented research of the ocean floor, paleomagnetism, and earth
Citrus2011 [14]
This explanation and his theory were not widely accepted. Prior to Wegener, however, many had noted that the shapes of the continents seem to fit together, suggesting some schism in the past.

Continental drift was really not allowable as even an accepted theory until the 1950s. Most geologists accepted the theory as quite possible before 1970. Several factors point to the acceptance of the continental drift theory.

Fossil records from separate continents, particularly on the outskirts of continents show the same species. As well mineral specimens along the supposed break lines of the continents are nearly identical. Some identical species exist on certain continents, like an earthworm common to both Africa and South America suggesting the species could not have spontaneously arisen on both continents without some variations hope this helps

A client with atrial fibrillation is being discharged home after being stabilized with medications, including digoxin. Which of
vampirchik [111]

Answer:

The options

1. “I must visit my health care provider (HCP) to check my drug levels.”

2. “I should report to my HCP if I develop nausea and vomiting.”

3. “I should tell my HCP if I feel my heart skip a beat.”

4. “I will need to increase my potassium intake.”

The CORRECT ANSWER IS 4.

4. “I will need to increase my potassium intake.”

Explanation:

Drug toxicity is seen to happen frequently in clients with digoxin as a result of its little therapeutic range. Many factors that are being responsible for it (eg, hypokalemia) may lead to toxicity.

However, when other contributing factors are absent, potassium intake might not necessary be increased even when a client is on digoxin.

In conditions where the client uses some other potassium-decreasing medications, take for example diuretics, potassium supplements can be taken .

Signs and symptoms of digoxin toxicity are:

1.Gastrointestinal symptoms such as anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain are most often the notable symptoms

2).Neurologic manifestations which includes lethargy, fatigue, weakness, confusion etc.
