An excessive amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) produced during ovulation can cause an inability to ovulate, which can lead to a follicular cyst.

Follicular cyst

 • A cyst develops in place of the follicle if it does not burst or release the egg.
 • A woman's ovaries might produce tiny sacs filled with fluid called follicular cysts. From the size of a pea to that of an orange, a follicular cyst can vary greatly in size.
 • The majority of the time, ovarian cysts are benign and useful.
 • An exaggeration of the events leading up to the monthly ovulation and a catalyst for follicular development is a follicular cyst.
 • This kind of cyst develops when ovulation is absent. An excessive amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) produced during ovulation can cause an inability to ovulate, which can lead to a follicular cyst.
 • The follicle develops into a cyst if it does not burst or discharge the egg.

So, the correct answer is a follicular cyst.

Distinguish between natural selection and artificial selection.
Masja [62]
Natural selection is when favorable traits stay in a population while unfavorable traits get weaned out. EX: There is terrain that is lightly colored and there are some moths there. They need to blend into the terrain to not be eaten by birds. So, the lighter colored moths live longer and can produce more offspring than the darker colored moths. Now, what happens if the color of the terrain changes due to a factory being put right next to it and causing the terrain to turn grey. The lighter colored moths will be eaten more than the darker colored moths so then he darker colored moths will be reproducing more and most of the moths will be darker colored.

Artificial selection: is the intentional breeding for certain traits, or combinations of traits, over others, and is synonymous with "Selective breeding".
EX: the breading of certain dogs to produce the poodle.
