Write a proper email to a teacher. Prompt : requesting an extension for an important assignment.
seropon [69]
First you need your subject. Which would be what the important assignment is. Then “Dear teacher,” but don’t say teacher, use the teachers name” then hit return twice, then ask, and be straight forward. Return twice again then “thank you,” or “sincerely,” then your name. So like this for example:
Subject

Dear Mrs. Teacher,

I need an extension on the important assignment because *state your reason and say how much longer you might need*

Thank you, your first and last name.

I just had this assignment in the beginning of the year and that’s how I did it and got it right.

mojhsa [17]

. Brutus is a well-respected man, and as his brother-in-law, Cassius should not be manipulating Brutus in order to achieve his own ambition. Maybe it helps ,Sorry if not. :) :( :)

Each one of the following sentences contains a clause. In which sentence is the clause used as an adverb?
Softa [21]
The correct option is option “C”. “I do not mind fishing, as long as I don’t have to bait the hook” is the sentence in which the clause is used as an adverb. The options “A” and “D” cannot be the right answer since in both the cases the clause is modifying the subject and thus makes it an adjective. So these two options are obviously ruled out. In case of option “B” the clause is acting as a noun and so this option also gets cancelled out.

What does O’Brien claim is the first thing Winston must realize power ?
OLga [1]

Mr. O'Brien and Winston are the principals starrings of the novel.

Textually O'Brien tells Winston: The first thing you must realize is that power is collective. The individual only has power in so far as he ceases to be an individual..alone...free.. the human being is always defeated.

That is the first thing from O'Brien to Winston.
