A committee specially appointed to iron out the differences between House and Senate versions of the same bill, so it can get to the Governor is called a conference committee.

What is the objective of the conference committee?

The conference committee is designed to eliminate the differences rise between both the House and Senate versions of the bill to pass any bill to become a law.

The commanding officers of the panel first deal with the bill which designates senior members to the committee. The lawmakers from each chamber collaborate to keep their draft of the bill.

If the Conference Committee manages to come to an agreement, it drafts a formal report and sends it to each chamber. This conclusion helps to sort the difference between both the parties.

Igoryamba

Answer:

For about 250 years, the British East India Company evolved from a company chartered by the British Crown to trade with the East Indies into de facto British administrator of India, which set off the era of British colonization of the Indian Subcontinent. After 1588, London merchants presented a petition to Queen Elizabeth I for permission to sail to the Indian Ocean. Permission was granted to several ships, but in 1600 a group of merchants known as the Adventurers succeeded at gaining a Royal Charter under the name Governor and Company of Merchants of London trading with the East Indies. For 15 years, the charter awarded the newly formed company a monopoly on trade with all countries east of the Cape of Good Hope and west of the Straits of Magellan.

Why was fort ticonderoga important?
Korolek [52]
It was important because the Colonists didn't have any gunpowder and when they captured Fort Ticonderoga they got what they needed to start fighting the British. I hope that helped :)

What likey explains the poor standing of Leopold the 2nd among historians todays
djverab [1.8K]
The poor standing of Leopold the 2nd is most probably attributed to the role he had in the extermination of huge amounts of people in Belgian colonies at the time. This wasn't known at the time, but today we known that Leopold the 2nd had ordered a genocide over the Congonese people.
