Of the answers below, what is the smallest nucleotide sequence that could code for a protein with 300 amino acids?
ololo11 [35]
The nucleotide sequence would have to have 900 nucleotides in order to code for a protein of 300 amino acids. When translating RNA into proteins, RNA is read 3 bases at a time. Each group of 3 bases is a codon, and each codon codes for an amino acid. When read, the proper amino acid is added to a growing chain of amino acids, which will be folded to become a protein.

Therefore, 300 amino acids * 3 nucleotides per amino acid = 900 nucleotides.

Burka [1]

Answer:

Selective Optimization With Selection.

Explanation:

It is known that this theory was widely known from 1980s and was postulated by a man called Baltes. Baltes here argued that as individuals advance through life they are increasingly faced by age related deficits which place limits on their cognitive and behavioral resources. Tackling these limits placed on domains, individuals will begin to invest resources into particular styles and behaviors that are deemed adaptive to the new constraints.

Prochlorobacteria are primitive, photosynthetic bacteria that are used in the manufacture of dairy products.
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

(b) - False

Explanation:

Prochlorophyte bacteria are photosynthesizers and have the same chlorophyll found in algae and vegetables, studies claim that these bacteria are the most abundant beings on the planet, accounting for half of all photosynthesis performed in the oceans.

Prochlorophyte bacteria can be divided into <em>Prochloron</em>, <em>Prochlotrix</em> and <em>Prochlorococcus</em> genera.

However, <u>prochlorobacteria</u> are not responsible for the production of dairy products, in which the most associated bacterial genera are <em>Lactobacillus</em> and <em>Streptococcus</em>. This last statement implies that alternative b is the correct one.
