Answer;

No , abiotic factors can not be composed of cells.

Explanation;

An ecosystem is the lowest level of environmental complexity that includes living (biotic factors)and nonliving factors (abiotic factors).

-Abiotic factors are non living factors such as temperature, climate, sunlight, soil quality, etc that are part of an ecosystem.

-Cells are living and therefore they can not be classified as abiotic factors, but instead cells are biotic factors (living factors).

What were your predicted results for glucose transport in the cold condition (4°c, 15mm glucose)? briefly state the physiologic
Sphinxa [80]

The glucose transport will decrease in low temperatures as it is an enzyme mediated mechanism and the activity of the enzymes decreases at low temperatures.

Decreased temperatures have negative impact on cell membrane and transport. When the temperature is low, the tails of phospholipids become rigid and movement is slow. The overall fluidity of the membrane is decreased and this restricts the entry of glucose into the cell. The glucose transport occurs via facilitated diffusion and diffusion is also a temperature dependent process.
