The time 0.825 is 49.5 minutes based on the conclusion that the sum of the different amounts of time was 7.825 hours.

What is the proportion in time?

Proportion in time refers to the relationship between two or more ratios or quantities expressed in time measurements.

Data and Calculations:

One hour = 60 minutes

One minute = 60 seconds

0.825 of an hour = 49.5 minutes (0.825 x 60 minutes)

0.5 minutes = 30 seconds (0.5 x 60)

Thus, we can conclude that the total time involved is 7 hours, 49 minutes, and 30 seconds.

The distance between river city and pine bluff is 6 inches what is the scale of the map
son4ous [18]
The distance between pine bluff and river city is approx. 535.1 miles ( i had to search this up because without that information you cant find out your scale). 535.1 miles is 2 825 328 feet (or 535.1 X 5 280, because there are 5280 feet in a mile), and 2 825 328 feet is 33 903 936 inches (or 2 825 328 X 12, because there are 12 inches in a foot). Now if you take 33 903 936, and divide it by 6, which was how many inches were shown on your map, you get 5 650 656. and so, the scale on your map is 1:5 650 656, or for every 1 inch on your map, there are 5 650 656 inches in real life.

Computers from a particular company are found to last on average for 24 months without any hardware malfunction with a standard
vodomira [7]

Answer:

At least 68% of observations lie between 22 and 26 months.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Empirical Rule states that, for a normally distributed random variable:

68% of the measures are within 1 standard deviation of the mean.

95% of the measures are within 2 standard deviation of the mean.

99.7% of the measures are within 3 standard deviations of the mean.

In this problem, we have that:

Mean = 24

Standard deviation = 2

22 = 24 - 2

22 is one standard deviation below the mean

26 = 24 + 2

26 is one standard deviation above the mean.

So, by the empirical rule, at least 68% of observations lie between 22 and 26 months.

The combined average weight of an okapi and a llama is 450 kilograms. The average weight of 3 llamas is 190 kilograms more than
olya-2409 [2.1K]
Okapi=o llama=l

o+l=450

3l=190+o

I cant remember how to work it out but if you have a graphics calculator you would open a calculator page, press Menu:3:1 (solve function) and type in those equations. It would look like this:

solve(o+l=450 and 3l=190o,o)

l=160    o=290

llamas are 160kg and okapis are 290kg. Hope that helped a bit :)
