A potentially fatal condition with sudden onset, characterized by uremia, that can be caused by the kidneys not receiving enough blood to filter is called Renal artery stenosis or Acute kidney failure.

 • The narrowing of one or more arteries that supply blood to your kidneys is known as renal artery stenosis (renal arteries).
 • Your kidneys can't get enough oxygen-rich blood because of artery narrowing.
 • To assist in filtering waste materials and eliminating extra fluids, your kidneys require a sufficient blood flow.
 • Your kidneys' decreased blood flow could harm renal tissue and raise your body's blood pressure.
 • Clogging of the renal arteries. Your renal artery walls are susceptible to plaque buildup from fats, cholesterol, and other chemicals (atherosclerosis).
 • Larger deposits have the potential to harden, decrease blood flow, result in kidney scarring, and ultimately restrict the artery.

Check all of the following which could describe the first interaction of the acquired immune system to an infection. A. Binding
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
E. Stimulation of T-cell by APC

The initial exposure of the body to an infectious agent e.g. through a vaccine, triggers an immune response most of which rapidly diminishes after the vaccination. However some cells of the immune system called lymphocytes remain with a memory of that pathogen. As a result, if the same pathogen infects a vaccinated person, the memory cells remember and recognize it and rapidly spring into action triggering a much more rapid response specific to that pathogen than the initial exposure, effectively dealing and neutralizing the pathogen.

Why taenia solium is not digested by human intestines?
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

that's an pretty interesting question

Explanation:

For the simple reason that no digestion takes place in the human intestines. Digestion takes place in the stomach. Intestines are where the nutrients are absorbed into the body, and the conditions there are much more favourable for parasites like tapeworms. The stomach produces hydrochloric acid strong enough to burn a hole in a rug and is also home to lot of other strong digestive enzymes. Any tapeworm venturing there would get digested in seconds.

Answer:

2.2.1 O is the enzyme and N is the ligand.

2.2.2 In the figure, the enzyme shows lytic activity by generating two products like digestive enzymes.

2.2.3 Enzymes are indispensable for signal transduction and cell regulation, often via kinases and phosphatases. They also generate movement, with myosin hydrolyzing ATP to generate muscle contraction.
