Use Cramer's rule to find the solution to the following system of linear equations.
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

x = 53

y = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Step(I):-

Given equations are

x -2y =-7 ...(I)

5x-9y =-5 ..(ii)

The matrix form  AX = B

                    \left[\begin{array}{ccc}1&-2\\ 5  & -9\\\end{array}\right] \left[\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\\end{array}\right] = \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-7\\-5\\\end{array}\right]

The determinant

= \left|\begin{array}{ccc}1&-2\\5&-9\\\end{array}\right| = -9+10 =1

By using Cramer's Rule

Δ₁ =      \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-7&-2\\\\-5&-9\end{array}\right]

The determinant is     Δ₁ = -9 X -7 - (10 ) = 53

x = Δ₁ / Δ

x = 53

The determinant

Δ₂ =

Δ₂ = -5 +35

y = Δ₂/Δ =  30

How do I graph y = 9x?
Sliva [168]
Slope intercept form is y=mx+b. since there is no b term, the y intercept is 0. since there is a 9 in the m term, your slope will be nine. based on those two things, you need a point at (0,0) and (1,9). on the other end, your point will be (-1,-9). then draw a straight line through. hope this helps :)

A ball is thrown into the air with an upward velocity of 32 ft/s. Its height (h) in feet after t seconds is given by the functio
Natasha2012 [34]
For this case we have the following equation:
 h = -16t ^ 2 + 32t + 6
 Deriving we have:
 h '= -32t + 32
 We equal zero and clear t:
 -32t + 32 = 0
 32t = 32
 t = 32/32
 t = 1 s
 Then, the maximum height is given by:
 h (1) = -16 * (1) ^ 2 + 32 * (1) + 6
 h (1) = 22 feet
 Answer:

It takes the ball to reach its maximum height about:

t = 1 s

The ball's maximum height is:

h (1) = 22 feet
