sample proportion = 71/125 = 0.568

standard error of the proportion

= 0.0431

The null hypothesis follows a standard normal distribution. This is a left tailed test.

We are to reject the null if the p value is less than 0.05

p < 0.05

This probability test is a z probability test.

Z test = 0.568 - 0.63 / 0.0431

test statistic = -1.436
