Smell - The sense that is effective at simulating emotional memories.

Smell is one of the five basic senses humans have. The researcher has found in various studies that smell is a powerful sense that stimulates the memory we have stored in our brain related to the particular smell.

Ths structure that deals with the process of smell are known as olfactory signals, scientist believe that olfactory signal sends the system quickly to the limbic system that deals with behavior and emotional responses of the brain.

The scientist has found that smell is an effective stimulater of memories, when we encounter a smell that has attached to some memory we tend to recall it better and sometimes it feels that it is happening again with us.
