Answer:

Multiples of 4:4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, …

Multiples of 6:6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, …

Answer: The least common denominator of 1/4 and 1/6 is 12.

Prime factorisations of 8= 2 × 2 × 2.

Prime factorisations of 12= 2 × 2 × 3.

Hi! ⋇

   To find the least common denominator of \sf{\frac{1}{2}} and \sf{\frac{5}{6}}, we should first find the least common multiple of 2  and 6, which is 6:

 Multiples of 2: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16... ∞

 Multiples of 6: 6, 12, 18, 24... ∞

(all common multiples are in bold-face; all multiples of 6 are in bold-face because all multiples of 6 are also multiples of 2)

· In both sets, 6 is the least common multiple, and it's also the least common denominator.

Hope this made sense to you !!

What is the slope of the line and y intercept
valkas [14]
Answer is a

You need to find the y-intercept (aka b). You can do that by simply looking where the graph intercepts with the Y-axis.
b= 1 (positive 1 and not negative)

Now we need to find the slope by the following

Slope aka m: (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
Note: sometimes people say it’s rise/run which is the same thing as the previous formula.

Pick two points that fall on the graph. I chose (0,1) and (3,-4). Even though there are no numbers you can assume each square is a unit and count the squares.

Slope = (-4-1)/(3-0) = - 5/3

Find a • b. a = 5i + 7j, b = -4i + 3j
anygoal [31]

Answer:

a \cdot b = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 5i + 7j

b = -4i + 3j

a = a_xi + a_yj

b = b_xi + b_yj

a \cdot b = a_xb_x + a_yb_y

a \cdot b = (5)(-4) + (7)(3)

a \cdot b = -20 + 21

a \cdot b = 1

The function s(V) = describes the side length, in units, of a cube with a volume of V cubic units. Jason wants to build a cube w
Leni [432]

Answer:

s≤4 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let s be side of cube.

As we know that the volume of cube=side×side×side

Here, it is given that the volume of cube = 64 cubic centimeters.

or we can write

side×side×side=64 cubic centimeters

Taking cube root both sides

side= 4 cm

In order to build a cube with a minimum of 64 cubic centimeters,

we can take the value of s≤4 cm.

Hence, the reasonable range for s, the side length is s≤4 cm.
