Triangle QST  is similar to triangle PQR

We are given that measure of angle SRP is 90°

Q is the point of the hypotenuse SP

Segment QR is perpendicular to PS and T is a point outside the triangle on the left of s

We need to find which triangle is similar to triangle PQR

So,

Using Angle - Angle - Angle Criterion We can say that

m∠PQR = m∠SQR  (AAA similarity)

m∠SQR=m∠SQT (AAA similarity)

Where m∠Q =90°  in ΔQST and PQR

Therefore ΔQST is similar to ΔPQR

When the firecracker hits the ground, H(t) = 0.0 = -16t^2 + 90t + 160 Using the quadratic formula,t = (-90 +- sqrt(90^2 - 4(-16)(160))) / 2(-16)t = -1.42 ort = 7.04

The negative time is extraneous. Therefore,t = 7.04 s.

Write an example of the associative property of addition
vfiekz [6]
The word "associative" comes from "associate" or "group";the Associative Property is the rule that refers to grouping. For addition, the rule is "<span>a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c</span><span>"; in numbers, this means
</span>2 + (3 + 4) = (2 + 3) + 4. For multiplication, the rule is "<span>a(bc) = (ab)c</span>"; in numbers, this means2(3×4) = (2×3)4<span>. Any time they refer to the Associative Property, they want you to regroup things; any time a computation depends on things being regrouped, they want you to say that the computation uses the Associative Property.</span>
