I would help them by telling them that there are many different foods that have carbohydrates so therefore there is healthy low fat food they can eat. I would suggest, Brown bread- because it is low fat and has carbohydrates, vegetables- they have about 13g of carbohydrates, fruit, peas, nuts,chia seeds and whole grain food
