How are the executive and legislative branch involved in selecting supreme court justices
natali 33 [55]

Role of executive and legislative branch involved in selecting Supreme court justices:

They play an interesting symbiotic role in the act of nominating Supreme Court Justices. The legislative is the Congress whereas the executive branch refers to the president. When creating a law, the legislative branch has the power to create whereas the executive can veto any law proposed by the legislation.

The roles switch for nominating however. While the president nominates the nominees for the position of Supreme Court Judges, but the Congress applies some checks and balances in order to approve the nominated candidates.
