Prejudice is often formed from generalization. For example, when we constantly see in news and television only reported the crime that conducted by a certain racial group, we would most likely grow up believing that members of that racial group is more prone to do criminal actions.
Yes, because morally, it’s the right thing to do. Our common humanity means that those of us who are doing well (often doing <em>too</em> well) should help those whose basic needs are not met. And, in part, our personal and national wealth has often been created by the exploitation of poor people – colonial extraction of resources, the slavery and opium trades, unfair international trade and finance practices and others. Reallocating just <em>1% of global wealth</em> would eradicate extreme income poverty at a stroke. Those of us who are ‘better-off’ would be stupid not to help the poor. If we want a prosperous, politically stable and environmentally sustainable world for ourselves (and for future generations), then we have to help poor people in poorer, less fortunate lands.

The correct answer is Plessy Vs. Ferguson. In the landmark case Plessy vs. Ferguson, it was ruled that segregation of facilities was constitutional as long as those facilities were equal in quality. This is were the term "Separate but Equal" comes from. However, during the case Brown vs. The Board of Education it was ruled that racial segregation violated the fourteenth amendment of the Constitution. It was this ruling that rendered the ruling in Plessy vs. Ferguson invalid because the ruling was unconstitutional.
