Billy is having trouble in the concept of conservation, which is part of the concrete operational stage of cognitive development.

Trouble in conservation means that Billy is unable to understand that a change in the form of an object does not necessarily mean that the quantity of it has changed. In this instance, Billy has not acquired the ability to understand the 1/2 full glass of orange juice does not increase in quantity when it's poured in his favorite (smaller glass) and reaches its brim.

ANTONII [103]
A. traditional religious or moral values

Most cultures and religions espouse an ideal form of marriage and an ideal set of marriage partners. Given that systems of religion and systems of civil authority often reflect and support each other, conservative members of society may be opposed to same sex unions because of these values.

What courts have trial by jury?
Gre4nikov [31]

The Supreme Court has jurisdiction in original cases, appeals, and advisory matters. Any disagreement between the Government is covered by its only original authority.

What is a jurisdiction?

A legal entity's legal authority to administer justice is referred to in law as its jurisdiction. In federations like the United States, there are local, state, and federal levels of jurisdiction. In order to allocate resources to best meet the requirements of society, the executive and legislative branches of government have the authority to use international law, conflict of laws, constitutional law, and other legal frameworks. In general, international laws and treaties offer commitments that states consent to be obligated to uphold. Such agreements are not usually created or kept up to date. The UN charter specifies three principles for the exercise of extraterritorial jurisdiction. These three principles are territorial sovereignty, state equality, and non-intervention. This calls into question when many states can establish or enforce jurisdiction.

Choose two of the three sociologists: Durkheim, Marx, Weber, and use their arguments to explain a current social event such as t
grin007 [14]

Answer:

Occupy movement could be explained through Durkheimn's Functionalism theory and Karl Marx's Conflict theory.

Studying collective behavior it could be stated that there is a collective conscience that condemns and punishes Occupy's actions and behaviors. Due to they could be considered deviant or criminal, offending this collective conscience, Durkheim would consider the Occupy movement as a "social fact". The movement would support Durkheim's theory as a social force because it is external to the individual.

This collective conscience can evolve to organic solidarity, and in the long run, there could be anomie, while the whole society no longer supports a collective consciousness in favor of what Wall Street stands for.

This change in collective conscience could be reflected in education, due to there would not be a single and unique collective conscience taught to all the students. This organic process derived from the division of labor is also shown on a full-range diversity of interests and, therefore, of interdependent students alienated from each other with singular perspectives about the Occupy movement.

Marx would support the last phenomenon as an example of a society splitting up into hostile classes facing each other. Alienation could be referred to as several students isolated from their society and competing among themselves. Another result of alienation is false consciousness, where beliefs, ideals or ideologies are not in the person's own best interest. These beliefs, ideas or ideologies are also present in an educational proposal that may not fit the individual's interests.
