Answer:

1. Tenement-dwellers had to face several hardships such as poor life conditions and health problems due to the fact that little ventilation and little air could pass in those spaces. In most of the cases the inside of the rooms had no lights, and the diseases caused many children to die very young.

2. Life conditions in a tenement were precarious. Inside the tenements there was no ventilation, not even lights. It was necessary for many poor people and immigrants to live here because it facilitated the payment of the rent. However, because of the narrowness and the terrible conditions, rats arrived and different diseases with them.

Explanation:

Life there was so difficult because tenements were located in places that used to belong to single families, so there was not enough space to a great quantity of people, but immigrants had no other option.

To get the southern states to agree to the strong central government described in the Constitution, the northern states agreed to postpone a debate on the legality of slavery.

<h3>What eventually decide the legality of slavery?</h3>

The United States eventually abolished the slavery practice through the 13th Amendment after the Civil War. While the practice of slavery is no longer legal, it still however does exist in some cases then.

The 13th Amendment is the federal legislation that states "<em>Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction</em>".

kirza4 [7]

Answer:

Russia and Germany were briefly allied enemies.

Explanation:

Russia was under "communist" leadership while Germany was fascist. They did not have similar goals, in fact in the end they both wanted to take Poland. However, they had a common enemy in Western Europe and the United States, which is why they fought as "allies" for the first bit of WWII.
