So, time taken by slower maid ,

Now, time taken by both of the  made together is given by ,

$( \frac{x_{1}x_{2} }{x_{1} + x_{2} } )$

$\frac{x_{1}(4x_{1} ) }{x_{1} + 4x_{1} } = 4 hours$

$\frac{4x_{1} }{5} = 4 hours$

$x_{1} = 5 hours$     which is the time required by faster maid.
