A person who scores high on "Openness" are individuals who enjoy new experiences and are open to new ideas. Hence,  they will not be conventional or stick to familiarity.

Individuals with openness are creative and face no challenges in dealing with abstract ideas and concepts. They like to think out of the box and are adventurous in their decision making. Anyone who scores low in this dimension may have a traditional approach to things and usually do not like stepping out of their comfort zone.
