Performing duties in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and technical standards comprise the IMA professional ethics standard of: <u>competance</u>.

Members of IMA are expected to act morally. A dedication to moral professional conduct entails broad concepts that embody our beliefs and standards that direct member behaviour.

The fundamental ethics standard of IMA are: Honesty, Fairness, Objectivity, and Responsibility. Members are expected to follow these guidelines and to inspire others in their organisations to do the same.  

The Competence, Confidentiality, Integrity, and Credibility criteria must be followed and upheld by IMA members. If you don't comply, you can face disciplinary action.
