A Modell of Christian Charity' was a sermon that focused on how the Puritan settlers should treat one another in order to help each other - and the colony - survive. It was written by John Winthrop (1588-1649) who was one of the major leaders of the first Puritan settlement in the United States

What is Puritan settlement?

Following the arrival of the original Separatist "pilgrims" in New England in 1620, a second, bigger group of English Puritans departed. The Massachusetts Bay Colony, New Haven Colony, and Rhode Island were founded by the second wave of English Puritans.

A tiny group of Puritans known as the Pilgrims were the first to make their trip across the Atlantic. Unlike other Puritans, they pushed on complete separation from the Church of England and had originally sought religious freedom in the Dutch Republic.

The Puritans were followers of Puritanism, a religious reform movement that originated inside the Church of England in the late 16th century.

QveST [7]

Answer:

I can't tell what the answer is, but my explanation might give a clue what the answer is !

Explanation:

Because the US had destroyed Japan's national infrastructure to force it to submit to occupation. It was now responsible for the people there. It had promised that the Japanese would not be enslaved and would be allowed to rebuild in the Potsdam Declaration.

Goals for reconstruction were democratic self-government, economic stability, and peaceful Japanese co-existence with the community of nations. The United States allowed Japan to keep its emperor — Hirohito — after the war. However, Hirohito had to renounce his divinity and publicly support Japan's new constitution.

After the defeat of Japan in World War II, the United States led the Allies in the occupation and rehabilitation of the Japanese state. ... In September, 1945, General Douglas MacArthur took charge of the Supreme Command of Allied Powers (SCAP) and began the work of rebuilding Japan
