They will not necessarily be equal, but they will be constant.

What is dynamic equilibrium?

In reversible reactions, dynamic equilibrium refers to a state in which the rate of the forward reaction is equal to that of the backward reaction.

Consdier the reaction below: A + B --> C + D

If the reaction is in dynamic equilibrium, the rate of formation of A and B will be the same as the rate of formation of C and D. However, this does not mean that the concentrations of the reactants and the products will be the same.

Since the rate of forward and backward reactions are equal, it means that the concentration of each of the species will be constant.

Thus, the above reaction is applicable to that of two reacting gases placed in a sealed flask and allowed to reach a dynamic equilibrium.

What is the mass percent of aluminum in Al(OH)3 the molar mass of AL = 26.98, H = 1.0079, and O = 16.00
LiRa [457]
Mass percentage = (mass of Al)/(Total mass) * 100
= (26.98) / (26.98 + 3 * (1.0079 + 16)) * 100
= 34.59%

What is the difference between a molecular formula and a molecular modle?
ankoles [38]
The molecular formula tell us what elements the atoms are, and how many moles and atoms are attributed toward each element.
The molecular model tells us how the atoms/elements are bonded together.

Which correctly describes the reaction between potassium and excess water?
nika2105 [10]
Balanced chemical reaction: 2K(s) + 2H₂O(l) → 2KOH(aq) + H₂(g).

KOH is inorganic compound potassium hydroxide, a strong base.
H₂ is hydrogen gas.
In balanced chemical reaction number of atoms on both side of chemical reaction must be same. There are two potassium atoms, four hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms on both side of reaction.
