Solving for y:

6y - 2x = 20

6y = 2x + 20

y = \frac{2x + 20}{6}

y = \frac{2x}{6} + \frac{20}{6}

y = \frac{1x}{3} + \frac{10}{3}

<em>Hope it helps!</em>

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

6y - 2x = 20

     -6      -6

-2x = 20 - 6y

divide both sides by -2

\frac{-2x}{-2} = \frac{20 - 6y}{-2}

Dividing by -2 undoes the multiplication by -2.

x = \frac{20 - 6y}{ -2}

Divide 20 -6 by -2

x = 3y - 10

Or

y = \frac{10}{3}x +\frac{x}{3}

Which of the following is true
Andrews [41]

Answer:

A, AA similarity

Step-by-step explanation:

the first similar angle is from the vertical angles and there are 2 more because the end sides are parallel and when they intersect with the same line it will make it have the same degree. It may look SAS but the figure may not be drawn to scale and there is no proof for it.

Find the sum of the first 16 terms of the series 14+11+8+5+...-82
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

-136

Step-by-step explanation:

This series can be written as: (14 - 3*0) + (14 - 3*1) +...+ (14 - 3*n)

The sum of the first 16 terms is:

14*16 <u>- 0 - 3 - 6 - 9 -...</u> = 224 - 360 = -136

This underlined bit can be calculated in many ways, I personally used my calculator, but there are formulas to do so.

What is the volume of a cone that has a height of 17 M and a base with a radius of 6 meters?
asambeis [7]

Answer:

V = 640.8849

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the equation for the volume of a cone, all you have to do is plug in the given values of height (h) and radius (r)!

V=pi(r^2)*\frac{h}{3}

So you end up getting something looking like

V=3.14159(36)(\frac{17}{3})\\V=640.8849
