What is Superficial peroneal nerve?

The greater portion of the dorsum of the foot, the fibularis longus, and the fibularis brevis muscles are all innervated by the superficial fibular nerve, which is also referred to as the superficial peroneal nerve (with the exception of the first web space, which is innervated by the deep fibular nerve). The major nerve in the lateral compartment of the leg is the superficial fibular nerve. The muscles of the fibularis longus and fibularis brevis are where it starts, on the side of the fibula neck. It falls between the fibularis longus and fibularis brevis in the middle part of the leg, then reaches the anterior border of the latter to enter the groove between the latter.

Which of the following is a normal reflex profile for an elderly patient?
Airida [17]

Answer:

C) Knee: reduced; arm: normal; abdomen: reduced

Explanation:

Elderly persons experience normal physiological changes associated with aging in all of their solid organ systems. Together, these changes lead to a diminished physiological reserve.

As a result of aging, elderly patients can have some parts of their bodies not functioning properly but does not mean they will not be present. Losing specific parts of the body is not peculiar to the elderly, several factors can be responsible for losing one's parts of the body.

Therefore, option C typifies the normal reflex profile of an elderly patient
