Sentencing is not necessarily clear-cut. according to the text, criminal behaviors that can be attributed to stable, controllable causes appear to receive strongest punitive responses and severe sentences  punishment, This is because the law tries to differentiate between the acts committed by will and self-determination, to those which are committed by situations that can not be controlled, example: it is not punished in the same way, someone  that runs over a person for being under the influence of alcohol, to someone who does it because of a mechanical failure that the vehicle brought.

Galileo on the other hand, is one of the few people that was brave enough to challenge the church's authority. Due to his knowledge in Math and astronomy, he managed to disprove the church's narrative that always conveys that Earth is the center of the universe.</span>
