The nurse is preparing to perform oral care for a client who has full dentures. Actions that should be taken care by the nurse are providing privacy, gently brushing the teeth, and placing a towel while removing them.

Dentures are artificial removable replacements of teeth that can be either partial or complete. When removing them the patient should be provided with privacy, so they feel comfortable while doing so.

Gentle brushing should also be done by the nurse to help clean the teeth properly furthermore, a towel should be placed so that there is no damage to the dentures even if they fall out accidentally while removing.
