Describe three conditions that create opportunities for pathogens to become harmful in a human.

There are numerous circumstances that give pathogens the chance to harm people.

The first occurs when an infection has already weakened the immune system. In situations like this, other pathogens may infect the host opportunistically and cause an infection. If the human host does not maintain proper personal and environmental hygiene, that is another condition. Many pathogens thrive in unclean environments, so by failing to maintain proper environmental hygiene, a person increases his risk of contracting a pathogen.

Finally, since so many pathogens are transferred by vectors, humans are more likely to contract the diseases that these vectors aid in spreading if they do not take the necessary precautions to stop their activity.

A nurse is teaching the parents of a 3-year-old child with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis about their child's special needs. Wha
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

"We'll have to move to a very warm climate."

Explanation:

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that impairs the functioning of exocrine glands that produce mucus, sweat or pancreatic enzymes. This disease impairs the functioning of the exocrine glands that produce thicker, difficult-to-eliminate substances (mucus, sweat or pancreatic enzymes).

Since the exocrine glands of patients with this disease have difficulty releasing sweat, it is not recommended that these patients move to warm climates, as this climate would stimulate sweating and worsen the patient's symptoms and suffering. It is best to keep these in a cooler place and if necessary use air conditioning and fans to limit the production of sweat.

What are four thing that cells do to maintain homeostasis?
AlladinOne [14]
<span> cells maintain homeostasis as they are living things. The main way cells maintain homeostasis is through their cell membranes. Cell membranes protect the cell from the outside world, if there is too much of something in the cell, the cell membrane uses pockets to expel some of it, it trasports nutrients across the cell, and it also dictates what goes in and out of the cell.
