When the carrying capacity of a population is suddenly decreased, then the population also declines.

Carrying capacity is defined as the maximum number of individuals of a population, an environment can sustain with respect to the resources available. A population can be defined as a group of similar individuals that live in the similar habitat, utilize the same resources and are capable of interbreeding.

The sudden decrease in the carrying capacity of a population occurs when the resources are being utilized at a rate faster than they can be replenished again. This will, therefore, lead to reduction of the population.

Lysosomes can be compared to the recycling and garbage centers of a city. How can this comparison be justified?
lutik1710 [3]
Lysosomes can be compared to the recycling and garbage centers of a city because lysosomes contain enzyme that help in the breaking down of cellular debris and on the other hand the the immune cells that are present, help in the destruction of bacteria. We can see that it is similar in a sense that garbage centers present in cities take in the garbage's and recycle them.
